Our unique one-part self-crosslinking D4 water-resistant and water-proof PVA wood glue is WP4. This special PVA adhesive can be used to bond together soft wood, hard woods, real wood veneer, high pressure laminates, ‘solid surface’, MDF, chipboard, plywood, dowels, and many other wood-based substrates. What’s more, WP4 can also be used in high frequency (R/F) presses.
In particular, it is perfect for both gluing interior work with frequent long-term exposure to running or condensed water, and exterior use exposed to weather, provided the glue-line is protected with an adequate protective coating (as defined in DIN EN 204 durability class D4).

Water-proof PVA Wood Glue WP4…
- The best choice where high levels of water resistance are required. However, we recommend our PU30 for the most severe external weather resistance applications and constant standing water.
- Complies with the requirements of DIN EN 204 D4 water-resistance standard.
- Available in pack sizes from 500 gm bottle to 25 kg
- D4 spec includes boiling-water bond test !
- WP4 has high impact and temperature resistance.
- Finally, the bond obtained with WP4 is stronger than the wood.
